How do you think Kate felt when she looked through Anna's binder of money and Campbell's clippings?
She may have felt betrayed by her sister wanting to hire a lawyer to get herself freed. She may think she was the one who hurt her sister and now feels she hurt her sister.

I think Jesse was glad that Anna was standing up for herself, but I think he was also torn because it would mean Kate would die. Jesse mentioned that Anna was his only proof that he was born into that family... and he aslo said that Anna is making him look a little better... he might be a screw up, but at least he isn't suing his parents. (But Jesse did offer to donate his kidney and was upset when he found out he wasn't a match... which means he is upset that Kate is dying.)

Well i think there father should feel that his daughter can do what she wants and if she wants to give her sister a body part she can if thats what it takes to keep her alive because she then done it before.

A: This is awsing Dangoelo cotto. And I apogzies if I wrote your name wrong. I would want to sue my parnts for the ringht for my body but the differs is would I go thrugh with it. Probuly not. You can see her concern whenever Kate gets sick and no matter what reasons she may have to file her court case, she loves her sister and doesn't want to her be hurt. I think she understands exactly what will happen if she wins the court case and she knows her sister will suffer. But it is not a case of he WANTING her sister to suffer, but a case that she knows that she HAS to let her sister to do what she believes is right.

I do understand her situation though, as she is tired of being forced to keep her sister alive by her parents and is proving to them that it is her decision to do so or not. Anna may end regretting this path of choice in the end.

At first I didn't even want to read it because I thought it was sick and twisted in a way. Now I'm actually very interested in it because I want to see how it turns out. I'm also very interested in Jesse's character. He has so much buried emotion and I want to see him get closer to his family by the end of the book.

I think Jesse was some what relieved because he didn't have to go through the surgery, but I also think he felt bad because their was no one to donate to her. Yes I can blame Jesse for what he does because he doesn't listen to his parents like he should, and he should be there for his family bcause they are going through a lot of pain dealing with Kate's sickness.

I wouldn't consider Anna selfish to go on with the case because she is looking out for her best interest unlike her parents who is looking out for Kate's. It was very caring for them to created another child to save their child's life but not solely for that reason.

I mean I wouldn't really have a choice at first if that's what my parents had intended my purpose to be while bringing me into this world. It would kill me to feel like that's all I was brought into this world for...to be used, but I'd have to learn to deal with it until enough was enough like Anna did and take it to court. I would probably be depressed and have suicidal thoughts of trying to end it all for I would be sick of being used because while Im keeping someone else alive I am slowly killing myself...So no I wouldn't be able to live only for the purpose of keeping someone else alive. It's kind of pointless to create a new life just to slowly kill it to keep another one alive for a little longer then their supposed to be, because once Im all used up and dead chances are they'll die shortly after that because they will no longer have their life support (ME) nomore...

f i were Campbell Alexander I would represent Anna Fitzgerald. Besides the good publicity it might actually be a case worth fighting for. Think about it...a young girl bein used for a lab rat to keep her ever dying sister alive. If thats not a case worth trying then honestly what really are lawyers and attorney's for?! True it would cause a strain on the family but maybe that will finally give Anna the chance to be listened for once and not just heard! Sammy Moore If I were Campbell Alexander I would not represent Anna. Sure it'd be good publicity and get my name out there, make me look like a good guy...But I wouldn't want to be responsible for the more issues created in the home because of it. I mean sure I would be looking out for Anna's best interest in a way by representing her to end all of the medical work being done on her for her sister's needs. But then if in deed we would win I would feel responsible for Kate's death for she would no longer have the kidney or any other organ donation she would need in order to survive. If in fact we lost the case, it would create many new issues and awkwardness in the Fitzgerald household, I wouldn't want to be responsible for any of that. Either way I feel like there's pros and cons to each decision I would make, but I think it'd be safer to not represent Anna.
