William Brobst I personally like how it is split into different people talking. I can understand it more and it's not as boring when you hear a story from more than one person. I think it increases and decreases the readability depending on who's reading it. Increase because it keeps the person reading it more interested and it's not so repetitive. Decrease because it might confuse some people who aren't used to reading the style.
MARK CLEMSON I THINK ITS EASY TO READ AND UNDERSTAND. I CAN UNDERSTAND WHATS GOING ON AND I CAN READ IT BETTER BECAUSE YOU KNOW WHO'S TALKING AND A LITTLE MORE ABOUT WHATS GOING ON WITH THEM IN THE STORY.
My personal opinion of the way the book is set up is that it makes it easier to read. You always know whose saying what since the chapters are broken down into characters, your less likely to get confused while reading it. I think it's interesting because it shows each characters point of views and personal feelings.
The changing of the point of views in my opinion actually doesn't affect the readability of the book. As the reader reads one point of view they get a good clue on the main point of the story in that moment of time and when the other point of view comes in its shows the same thing just in another view and how that person handled that certain situation.
Well i think the effect on the mulitiple point of views of the readability on the book is that the book is broke down into different segments because every person have ther own chapter to make people read and try to understand the book better. This might be good for the people that like to read like that so they will understand the book but if a person likes to read then they would want to read a book that is not like this particular one.
I think how the book changes points of view does make the reading more interesting. It helps show and develope each character to you. Although this is the effect that it brings to the sotry it does in my own opinion hurt the readability of the book. Someone who has any form of trouble iwth reading may be confused with the time changes and character changes in the book and it can become dificult to read it at all.
The way the author decided to change point of views has, in my opinion, positive and negative effects on the readability of the book. Personally I enjoyed the change of perspectives. It made the book more interesting so you know what each character is personally thinking. There was a down side though. When the author would write the Sarah chapters, the dates would fall back , which at first confused me because I didn't see the year. However that was the only negative thing about the authors decision.
I believe that the book is both interesting and easy to pick up and understand. The different points of view make it so that you do not just hear one side of the story. You don't just take the side of a single character because you get to see what all of the main characters feel and you can make your own decision on who you believe is in the right depending on their own viewpoints and other character's viewpoints on that specific character. With all the changing views in the book, and the short, easily read, chapters, you keep interested, and therefor you can keep on reading without getting bored at any time while you read.
Virginia Massey The point of views in the book is very interesting because it doesn't effect the readability this might be great for people that likes to read things that are coming from others peoples thoughts
The way the author uses multiple point of views is interesting but yet confusing to me because of the way the author keeps going back and forth in the reading.
the book itself is very interesting and has a pull to it. its easy to understand because its on one of todays many controversial topics.the readability increases like others have said because its not the same thing every time you read a different chapter. every chapter has someone else's point of view that in the end all comes together in the end.
I THINK THAT THE BOOK IS VERY GOOD FOR PEOPLE TO READ BY YOURSELF TO READ AT HOME AND THEN YOU CAN WRITE A REPORT ON THIS BOOK. BUT I THINK THIS IS A VERY GOOD BOOK.
I think that it is enjoyable to read in different points of view. It shows the reader a view of every character and their traits. It may be confusing to some, but overall to me i liked it.
Marie Davidson i think it was enjoyable to read from different of points of views.but i also thought it was very confusing because i kept getting confused
Well I do like why differnt pont of fews. Seeing the same situstion in differnt viwes is verry good idea. And it keeps you reading. If your not in to a certeain chapder their is some view that wil come shorly. One of my favort parts was the squall of chapers where towes the end where all the chadres stared out "It's raining" that just gave me the incrabull amount of tenstion buse everybody is uneasy bout this case. Everybody did from the start but if you didn't get it those sequnes of chatpers would put it thouh any bodys head. Lucky Charms
I really don't like the way the way the book is set up. The main reason is because sometimes I get lost in certain parts of the book. What I mean is, in one Chapter the author narrates in Anna's point of view and then the next chapter is about Campbell who thinks total different thoughts. But the strengths showing different point of views is the you get to see what everyone thinks. Elmer J
Q: If your were Jesse when he found out that he wasn't a match for Kate, how do you think you would feel? Can you blame Jesse for how he feels and what he does?
A: I am responding to The Overlord Torey Phillips' question about where Jesse resides in the decision of helping Anna or Kate... I personally feel that Jesse is sisding with Anna, especially with everything that he has done to help Anna. October 10, 2007 6:06 AM
Jamal Owens It is harder to understand the story that way. The reason why it is harder to read is you can read one chapter about Anna then read the next chapter about Jesse then go to a chapter about Kate. That make it harder to read that way.
This book be confused, because it like a real life.Which it is but at the same time this book get yo mind all scrambled up so to me its crazy. But you can in joy the book if you like to read
Martez Daniels I think the readability of the book is low because i don't like how the book jumps around from on point of time to the next so that makes it hard to understand because its very confusing. the book is a good book if you began to understand.
AARON SOWICK The chapters make the book much more readable. It's nice that the chapters are named for the character that is talking. It makes the book easy to read and understand. To me though certain parts of the book are not very interesting. I don't like the Sara chapters just because I don't like reading about people's troubled lives. Other than that the book is very readable in that it is very interesting and nicely organized
I think that the book is a little difficult to understand because it is split into different people talking. But I also think that it makes the book more interesting, because it tells everybody's point of view & you know who's talking.
I really like the way the book is set up. The different points of view make it more interesting and I don't think it is confusing at all to keep up with the different chapters. This is my opinion though. If some one else say it's confusing I can see where they are coming from. Some people can't keep up with the different voices and don't know how to keep the story straight. To sum it up, I think the book is written well and it is readable enough for me.
I think the book is alright to understand. Sometimes I have to stop and think who's point of view i'm reading. I think it makes the book kind of interesting how it is split up in different views. It confuses me at sometimes but after a little I will get it.
I really think that some people could get really cofused while reading a book like this. The multiple point of views can get confusing. I found myself remembering that I'm reading in "Campbell's" view. It is very interesting when you know that there are multiple views in the book. Everyone has their own side of the story...
I LIKE HOW THE BOOK IS SPLIT INTO DIFFERENT CHARACTERS SHARING THERE POINT OF VIEW. IT MAKES THE BOOK UNIQUE INSTEAD OF SITTING THERE READING SOMETHING THE SAME OLD WAY. IT MAKES IT EASIER TO UNDERSTAND SEEING THE STORY IN EACH CHARACTERS EYES. IT MAKES READING MORE EXCITING BECAUSE YOU FOCUS ONE SUBJECT AT A TIME AND THEN EACH CHARACTER GETS TO SHARE HOW THEY FEEL AND THAT MAKES YOU ANXIOUS TO SEE HOW THE NEXT CHARACTER FEELS ABOUT THAT CERTAIN TOPIC OR EVENT.
By having the each character's point of view of what is going on, i am able to better understand the story. and by having it told by different people it makes it easier to follow along and keep you interested in whats going on.
P.Cheek I personally think that the angles the author took in telling the story where deeper and greatly detailed and easier to read because it gives all the character there own say so and how they played a part through there own eyes. When ever a person gives there own part in there own words in a book its more interesting to me. i think this is a good book.
Haver Rhym I never read a book like this one. It was interesting to read different point of views. I got a whole other feeling from this book. I think it helped me get into the story ,and the feel of the story to make it seem more real.
I THINK THAT THE AUTHOR WAS MAKING IT FROM OTHER PEOPLES POINT OF VIEW OR LETTING OTHERS TALK CAUSE IT RELATES TO ME AS A PUZZLE SO WHEN SHE LETS OTHER TELL THE STORY IT LIKE PUTS THE PUZZLE PIECES TOGETHER CAUSE WHO COULD TELL THE STORY BETTER THAN THE ONE WHO HAS EXPERIENCE IT AT THAT VERY MOMENT. AND IT ALSO CATCHES THE READERS ATTENTION BECAUSE U GET TO READ WHAT OTHER PEOPLE EXPERIENCED WITH KATE AND ANNA.
I like how each chapter in the book is a different person's p.o.v, it gives us as the readers a wide range of events from th p.o.v of the people it happened to.
I think the weakness is sometimes it gets confusing. However I think it keeps the book fresh. Your not reading the same thing. It helps keep it interesting. Overall it helps the book. Kevin Corley
the book it slighty complicated if you dont follow where you left off in someones chapter. but other than that i think the book is very easy to read!& a very good book at that.
I like having multiple views in a story. I think it eliminates having to write many books. It tells what each person is thinking. To me the readability of My Sisters Keeper is better because of the multiple views.
