Tell us what you think...

Since we are at the end of the unit, we'd like your input. Please share your honest evaluations so that the unit can be improved for the future. Answer at least TWO questions FULLY and THOUGHTFULLY.

What did you enjoy about the unit? What were the strengths of the unit? What were the weaknesses? How can the unit be improved for following classes? What engaged you? What disengaged you? What specific assignments did you enjoy? What class activities did you enjoy? Any other comments?

"If Speak"

On pg. 299, Anna describes, "If Speak"- the language that all children know, but abandon as they grow older. She says that, "Kids think with their brains cracked wide open; becoming an adult, I've decided, is only a slow sewing shut." Do you believe this is true? What might children teach the adults in this book? Which adults need the lessons more?

Answer ALL parts of the question.

Time for your own thoughtful questions and responses...

Today your blog comment must have two specific parts. First, it must answer another student's question in a thoughtful manner. (Please remember to indicate the person whom you're responding to by capitalizing or putting his/her name in bold letters.) The second part of the blog must be your own question posed to other bloggers. Your question ought to be thoughtful and as open-ended as possible.

Good luck!
